Hello my name is...
Hi there! My name is Dejanna! I am an aspiring producer who has been working as a Production Department Secretary on Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur at DTVA for the past 2.5 years.
I graduated from SCAD with a BFA Degree in 3D Animation where I discovered my love for and desire to pursue Production!
Supporting and helping others is what drives me in everything that I do. Fostering a positive and proactive environment where everyone can be friendly yet competitive is what I strive to create and be a part of! Utilizing my best skills to guide and cater to creative minds in order to bring out the best in their work is what I find most fulfilling- it pushes me to sharpen my own knowledge and abilities each day.
Team sports like swimming and diving, and individual sports like competitive gymnastics and weightlifting taught me a lot about hard work, dedication, working alongside others, the importance of honesty and time management, and so much more. It impacted my outlook on working as both an individual and collaboratively. They taught me that although it can be challenging, being a part of a team was equally if not more fulfilling than pushing yourself on your own.

When I'm not working I'm probably drawing, searching for a matcha latte, taking photos, or organizing a project with friends!

Fun Fact!
I also play video games and I've been a guild master for a few years.
A major part of my role as a guild master is organizing events for people to enjoy on a weekly and monthly basis both in game and through discord or other platforms. By combining my creative interests and "production" skills I make unique experiences for my members to participate in.
What does that look like? Well, I run all sorts of things like Movie Nights, a Murder Mystery, Trick or Treating, Secret Santa, Costume Contests, Parties, Celebrations, Arts and Crafts, Trivia, "Name That Song", Ice Breakers, and more!

I've also been a raid lead for a few years. What in the world is that? I'll tell you! We tackle more difficult content in games and you typically need to be a skilled player to do that. As a lead, I gauge the skills, interests, and weaknesses of my team and offer gentle guidance and constructive criticism when it's necessary in order for us to learn mechanics and succeed. I also organize raid schedules based on everyone's availability. My ability to be resourceful becomes important in the event that someone calls out since we need a full team to run!
